Back to School, Back to School

"Back to School, Back to School-to prove to my Dad (or everybody else) that I'm not a fool. I've got my lunch packed up, my shoes tied tight, I hope I don't get in a fight! Back to School, Back to School, Back to School."
-Billy Madison

GO UTES!

And I guess we can't forget the Wildcats!

It has been so long since I attended Weber that the Utes just became the team at our house. Not saying that I won't be supporting U football (and sitting in the student section no less) this season, but I guess since I will be attending the big Purple, I should show a little school spirit. Normally this is where I would burst out singing the school fight song, but I have to admit that I don't know even the tiniest line to the Weber fight song. If anyone could help me out, it would be very much appreciated.

Well, as this school year starts up again, I look at Mike and think-man I wish I only had a semester of school left. Unfortunately I am a College dropout who has now realized the error of her ways and hopefully in two semesters (after this one, in total 3) I will join the ranks of college graduates with a worthless, yet enjoyable, degree in English. Wish us luck everybody.

It's Guy Love Between Two Guys!

Ok, so for all of you out there that watch Scrubs and know it like we do at our home, you will think this is very funny! For those of you that don't I highly recommend that you rent it or find a friend that has them all recorded (eh hem, we do!) and watch the episode titled "My Musical" and fast forward to the ballad sang by Turk and JD, to each other. My husband has a friend named Spencer and if you know these two, you know that there is a bond between them that just can't be severed. Not that I am trying too hard, though, because as a result of their guy love, I have really gotten to know Spencer's wife. And if we have anything in common, it is the knowledge that our husbands are nerds when it comes to each other. Anyway, I just thought I would throw this on here to remind myself of the funny and sometimes perplexing things that they do. They never cease to surprise me. We have even joked that Spencer (before he got married) was husband #2. I guess it never hurt to have good friends.

Guy Love by
Scrubs

(Sung by Turk and JD, aka Spencer and Mike)

[J.D.] Let's face the facts about me and you, A love unspecified. Though I'm proud to call you "Chocolate Bear," The crowd will always talk and stare.

[Turk] I feel exactly those feelings, too And that's why I keep them inside. 'Cause this bear can't bear the world's disdain, And sometimes it's easier to hide, Than explain our

[J.D. and Turk] Guy love, That's all it is, Guy love, He's mine, I'm his, There's nothing gay about it in our eyes.

[Turk] You ask me 'bout this thing we share,

[J.D.] And he tenderly replies,

[Turk] It's guy love

[J.D. and Turk] Between two guys.

[Turk] We're closer than the average man and wife,

[J.D.] That's why our matching bracelets say Turk and J.D.

[Turk] You know I'll stick by for the rest of my life.

[J.D.] There's no need to clarify,

[Turk] Oh no?

[J.D.] Just let it grow more and more each day. It's like I married my best friend,

[Turk] But in a totally manly way.

[J.D. and Turk] Let's go! It's guy love, Don't compromise, The feeling of some other guy, Holding up your heart, Into the sky.

[J.D.] I'll be there to care through all the lows.

[Turk] I'll be there to share the highs.

[J.D. and Turk] It's guy love, Between two guys.

[J.D.] And when I say, "I love you, Turk," It's not what it implies.

[J.D. and Turk] It's guy love Between Two Guys
