Memories. . .Like the Corners of My Mind

Ok, so first off I have to say thanks to Marcie, and then Morgan, for sending me speeding down memory lane this morning. Man it is like a train just barreling through. I saw this tiny tag on Marcie's blog and I started thinking about all the good times that were had in Jr High and then High School, and then even college and I am feeling very nostalgic at the moment. What fun times! If you want to play along I would be so thrilled. I loved to reminisce. We could almost pretend that we are sitting around a table at Jake's Over the Top ("The Max"), or Cafe Rio.
Anyway, hope you enjoy!
I love you all!

1. Add a comment of a memory you have of the two of us together. It doesn't matter if you know me very well or just a little, it can be anything. It can be a recent memory or from way back. Once you leave a comment I will assume you are playing too.
2. Add these instructions to you own post and wait for the memories to start rolling in.

by far my favorite memory with you is the trip just you and I took to Bako and the beach during the "Olympic break"

So many memories, Paige. I don't even know where to begin.

The other day I was driving along the frontage road in Kaysville and I remembered the time we were in Jr. High and we wanted to see Mike Godfrey and he hadn't come to the Volleyball game so we decided to walk to his house... in freaking Hess Farms! I think it took us like an hour to get there, we didn't actually find his house, so we walked back to the school just in time to find that he had been there the whole time! Awesome! I think that was followed by a sloppy half lip/half cheek kiss for you later that weekend. Too bad he didn't have better aim.

One of my other favorite memories was when we dressed up like princesses/ballerinas a few years ago and crashed the boys XBox party at Spencers house. I'm not surprised that I got you girls to dress up in embarassing costumes and head out in public as that is one of my specialties, but as I look back, I am a little embarassed that we did that. Good thing those boys liked us.

I think the memorys that I remember most of you and I Paige have got to be girl's camps!! Especially that first year when you sister was a Laurel and they were constantly singing and dancing to the Toucan song...Yep I know you are singing it now..I still find myself singing it too.

Brooke, I almost lost water out my nose with the kiss comment. But it is so true! Thanks for being my partner in craziness!

oh wow....where to begin, it seems like that year and half we lived together was full of so many....but I would have to say that my favorite memories are all those road trips we took, really how many times did we go to vegas and cali???.....those were some good times...and some interesting times. But either way I loved them!

How about Lady Lighting memories... I think that is how we first meet. Also let's not forget the best ever DHS fashion show, rehersal's in Miss Johnsons room after school. I can't ever hear that Funk Show Brother song without breaking out in a dance.

That song was just on the radio! And of course that is what I was thinking of too. Man, good times!

What about the time we went to St George with your family for the marathon. We were gung-ho on seminary assignments and set up beds with snacks in the elevator to read our scriptures. Then we snuck out of our hotel room to play 007. Later that week we headed to Fiesta Fun (can't go there to this day without thinking of you) and proceeded to spend handfuls of quarters on toys for what later became our "Princess Warrior" pretense.

Disneyland was awesome! Again to bring up seminary, it was missionary week. I remember all the gay couples making out in line on V-day. Then, before my parents dropped us off at the airport, we got in the ocean which was closed due to dangerous tide and were soaking up to our necks and we had to strip down in the parking lot to change our clothes while my mom held up a sleeping bag. Haha!

...Oh, I miss you too.

The night we drove around Kaysville and Layton taking all the city election signs we could get our hands on and then putting them all in Tylers front yard. There was snow on the ground and it was freezing but it was SO FUN!!!

There are so many memories from college. I remember our Sunday dinners we made, specifically the ham and your potatoes. Me and you hanging out watching tv as Lindsay and Darci were out on their dates. Sunday night friend talks, what did we call those? We got the idea from Dan and his friends, but I can't remember what we called them. So much fun!

They were called Pillow Talk!

Hey Paige, when we were moving into our house, I was unpacking all my scrapbooks, and see if you remember the dog pound at Northridge, and I think that being cheerleaders on the bus after the games was out of control. I never wanted to be a cheerleader, so I am not sure why I was so excited to do those cheers after each game. Wouldn't it be awesome to go back just for one day! Such great memories!

So many memories...... where to begin.

My first time sleeping over at your house...and you kicked me out of the bed and told me to go sleep in Erin's room cause you were too squished :-) I couldn't believe you didn't want to spoon with me - where was the love! :-)

mmmmm....being up-side-down off the side of the road, in a ditch in W Kaysville in the Dart Mobile. And dangling from our seat belts. I don't think we'll ever forget that one!

Going to each others houses to get ready for the weekend "parties" in junior high. Sharing each other's clothes and being so worried about what to wear. And wearing way to much make up and perfume(ok that was probably more me than you)
:-) We were so cool!
